As Sport rules changes and new safety
features are required we have created
the "Trips" device. On all our seats
are 4 mountings that hold these devices
at your desired and needed height
and keeps them in place. The "Trips"
device ensures that your shoulder
harness is properly guided and safe.
Your classic car seat keeps its classic
look but whenever needed, you can
securely bolt the "Trips" device to
your GTS classic seats. We named our
device after the famous German race
driver Wolfgang Berghe von Trips,
who drove BMW's, VW's ,Mercedes, Porsches,
and Ferraris and was killed in Monza
in his Ferrari Formula 1 in reach
of the World Championship.
He participated in the Mille Miglia
, Targa Florio, Sebring as well as
in LeMans.
Had today's safety features been in
place, he might be still with us as
another World class driver and champion.
